Five Foot Two, Eyes of Blue

I'm only writing this so I can stop thinking about it.  UMC enthusiasts (that means you,
brassknight86
, and the lovely Creative Crocheter that I'm sure will show up soon), however, will want to note what I'm doing the weekend of April 25th and May 23rd.

So let's assume for a second that I'm not enriching 2 of the classes I'm taking this term.  Let's assume that my only academic challenge is writing my honors thesis.  Let's assume that because my 2nd job is so rewarding and eccentric, the hours I work at it don't exist.  Now let's look at this term's schedule, shall we?  And don't tell me this is overdue- it's only the beginning of the 3rd week out of 10 + finals.  Just because weeks far in the future seem free doesn't mean they're not going to fill up later.  Or sooner.

People are starting to believe again.  To open their hearts, to trust, to take the chance and leave themselves exposed.  Yes, darlings, the NCC campus is slowly becoming convinced that spring is truly, once again, here.  Giddy students are forgetting their textbooks on top of their cars before they drive to class, pick-up beds are packed full of guys sitting on the edge, girls are losing their clothes, and soon, far too soon, the orange bikini tanners will once again litter the grassy areas.  Shoulda spent the morning in the sun, I know, but after my early morning meeting with my advisor, I showered and went back to bed.  Good news on that front: I can easily get all the classes I need (although I, of course, wish there was more variety in what MLS classes were offered each term; the class on the city in spring will be really cool but not my first pick of subject matter for the term before my wedding).
